AtkinsRéalis is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and self-starting professional to join our Abu Dhabi team as a Discipline Lead/ Manager - Marine (Infrastructure). This role will be integral in supporting multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects across the GCC, focusing on marine and coastal infrastructure on residential/villa development programs, islands etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and oversight on large-scale multi-disciplinary marine infrastructure projects.
  • Drive successful project delivery from conceptual design through to execution, ensuring technical and budgetary objectives are met.
  • Lead and support the preparation of bids for both single and multi-disciplinary projects, focusing on strategies to win and deliver excellence.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to secure repeat business and explore new opportunities.
  • Regularly report on project performance, highlighting successes and addressing challenges proactively.
  • Ensure adherence to Health & Safety regulations, fostering a culture of safety within the team.
  • Offer technical expertise and innovative solutions on complex marine engineering projects.
  • Manage project designs and budgets, facilitating smooth transitions from tendering to final delivery in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Enhance your professional network, engaging with both internal teams and external clients.

Requirements:

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Civil/Structural/Marine Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum 15 years of experience in marine infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering large marine and coastal infrastructure projects.
  • Currently based in the UAE with substantial experience on Abu Dhabi based projects.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit/BIM, and familiarity with marine-specific programs (e.g., Coastal Modeling Software).
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with strong technical writing and communication abilities.
  • General competencies expected include Client Service, Commitment, Communication, Innovation & Continuous Improvement, Professionalism, Quality, and Teamwork.
  • Ability to process both paper and electronic documents and utilize computer equipment efficiently.
  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to assemble and interpret data.
