Our Infrastructure Division supports many of the major infrastructure programmes across the UK and major international projects. Our focus is to deliver effective outcomes by optimising the performance of both new and existing assets. The Asset & Information Management Practice is a vital component of this, enabling us to ensure customers' outcomes are realised in the projects we undertake and delivering bespoke sector-specific solutions to optimise asset performance.

AtkinsRéalis provides the opportunity to influence some of the most significant infrastructure programmes in the UK and develop and implement innovative solutions across the sector. Our Asset & Information Management practice delivers data-driven solutions and asset management, regulatory, and technical advice to a range of clients, both in the UK and internationally. We have an opportunity for an EDMS/CDE Specialist to join our team and immediately add value to the clients that we are working with.

The location of the role can be based in Birmingham, Warrington, Leeds, London, and Epsom – with hybrid-working supported – with potential home offices including Birmingham, Warrington, Leeds, London, and Epsom.

Your purpose:

As a EDMS/CDE Specialist, you'll have all the support you need to succeed. Working in a team that uses contemporary and traditional approaches, you'll examine, assess, and develop ways to increase the value of our client's output for positive real-world outcomes.This may include contributing to bids, developing new business propositions, or researching potential new markets.

We want you to help us grow our business by:

  • Support the ProjectWise environment, including user and group management, access controls, and permissions.
  • Support and maintain ProjectWise workflows, environments, templates, and standards to support project requirements via CDE Lead and wider Data & Information Services Team.
  • Experience of and configuring to Industry Data standards such as ISO19650.
  • Collaborate with project teams to understand their workflows and requirements and implement solutions in ProjectWise.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ProjectWise users, including resolving issues related to permissions, file management, and integration with other systems.
  • Perform regular backups and system maintenance tasks to ensure data integrity and system performance.
  • Conduct training sessions and create documentation to educate users on ProjectWise's best practices and functionality.
  • Stay current with ProjectWise updates, new features, and industry trends to recommend improvements and enhancements to the system.

What can you bring:

Ideally, you will have a relevant degree or professional experience in Computer Science or equivalent. You will possess proven experience as a ProjectWise Assistant or in a similar role, with in-depth knowledge of ProjectWise functionality and configuration, ideally with PowerShell knowledge. Equally, you may have gained relevant experience configuring and supporting various other EDMS/CDE systems such as BIM360/ACC, Asite, & Aconex.

  • You will have experience in agile and/or waterfall project delivery.
