Join Our Team as a Head of Project Quality!

Are you driven by the pursuit of excellence in quality assurance? We’re looking for a dedicated professional to help us achieve our operational objectives and exceed client expectations.

In this role, you’ll contribute to strategic audits and reviews by providing valuable information and analysis. You’ll prepare and complete gap analyses and audit plans, identify and resolve problems, and determine system improvements. Developing and implementing quality management systems, as well as potentially training client staff, will be key aspects of your responsibilities.

You’ll validate supplier quality management processes using established procedures, document evidence, and determine operational and performance qualifications. Writing and updating quality assurance procedures will also be part of your role. Maintaining and improving quality through inspections, compliance assessments, and staff interviews will be essential. You’ll collaborate with other management members to develop new methods and training procedures.

Planning and participating in visits to various field, offsite, vendor, manufacturing facilities, and office locations will be part of your routine. You’ll support the preparation of project estimates and proposals and participate in client proposal review meetings. Keeping your job knowledge up-to-date by studying trends and developments in quality management, participating in educational opportunities, and maintaining professional networks will be crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct strategic audits and reviews, complete gap analyses, and develop quality management systems.
  • Validate supplier quality management processes and document evidence.
  • Maintain and improve quality through inspections and compliance assessments.
  • Plan and participate in visits to various locations and support project estimates and proposals.

We’re looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Construction Management, Business Management, Engineering, or a related technical field, plus a minimum of four years of experience in quality control. Without a degree, eight years of related experience is required. You must have experience in quality assurance/control, developing QMS, and working with inspection/testing/product conformity.

You should possess the knowledge and ability to conduct different types of audits professionally, ethically, and objectively, using and interpreting applicable standards and requirements. The ability to plan, develop, communicate, and execute an audit within a defined scope, including resource scheduling and conducting necessary meetings, is essential. You’ll need to verify, document, and communicate audit results, develop audit reports, and evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions and follow-ups.

Understanding how quality principles relate to business protocols and the ability to explain the importance of aligning QMS functions to the organization is crucial. Strong interpersonal skills to resolve conflicts, conduct interviews, and make presentations effectively are required. You should have strong process and analytical skills, the ability to interpret data and determine the course of action, and the ability to interact collaboratively with team members and clients.

Good organizational and time management skills, the ability to perform under pressure, and the ability to adjust to changing priorities are essential. Strong networking, interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration skills are required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project, is necessary. Knowledge of materials management systems is preferred.

If you’re ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role in quality assurance, we’d love to hear from you! Apply now and be a part of our dynamic team
