Atkins North America Inc. seeks Lead Facility Assessor.

Perform onsite inspections to evaluate al building systems (architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical and plumbing) to determine condition, remaining useful life and required expenditures and remedial measures. Complete comprehensive and high-quality condition assessment and due diligence engineering evaluations of varying building types, including blueprint review to determine building construction and equipment types/quantities. Serve as project manager for multiple medium-to-large assessment projects in condensed timeframes. Identify and develop facility maintenance and improvement strategies to satisfy project objectives of client. Manage client relationship and assist in business development efforts through application of assessment-specific expertise. Develop cash flow projections to estimate cost of maintenance for foreseeable future. Develop detailed cost estimates for implementing maintenance and capital expenditure projects. Travel: Domestic and international travel required approximately 50% of the time. May work at unanticipated work sites throughout the United States.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Construction Management & Surveying and 24 months’ experience in the job offered or related occupation. Must have experience with the utilization of ASTM E2018-15 or Uniformat II Technical Terminology, review of construction blueprints and preparation of expository reports for building assessments in the evaluation of building systems including both architectural/structural and MEP systems.
