Materials Testing Technician/Clerk (Casual)

We are hiring! AtkinsRéalis is looking for a Materials Testing Technician/Clerk (Casual)role based out of our office in Saskatoon, SK Office and reports to Lab Operations Manager.

Location – Saskatoon, SK.

How will you contribute to the team?

  • Assists the Lab Operations Manager in the day-to-day procedures, such as data entry, equipment calibration and document control.
  • Work in our Saskatoon central laboratory as required, which may include duties such as sample preparation, and cleaning/maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Conducting materials testing in accordance with ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials), CSA (Canadian Standards Association) and Ministry of Highways standards on various materials such as soil, aggregate, concrete, etc.
  • Adhoc duties as assigned by Lab Operations Manager on department needs.

The ideal candidate:

  • High School Diploma (Minimum), and a driver's license is an asset but not required.          
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat; along with excellent formatting experience.
  • Strong communication, verbal and written, skills, with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Ability to balance priorities while meeting deadlines and remaining detail-oriented ensuring accuracy.
