We are looking for an experienced M&E Supervisor to work on our Substation construction Framework contracts. In this role, you will oversee on-site activities and support the Site Manager to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. You will manage site productivity, coordinate resources, and maintain accurate records, all while meeting Linxon’s high standards of excellence.

What will you do?

• Supervise site activities and manage the on-site supplier & team to ensure safe, smooth, and efficient operations.
• Communicate work methods and ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements, including issuing Linxon safety documents and compiling risk assessments and method statements.
• Oversee the site suppliers’ team’s performance, ensuring quality standards and timely completion of tasks. Countersign quality monitoring documentation to confirm adherence.
• Advise on installation programmes to optimise cost while delivering to the required safety and quality standards  
• Maintain detailed site documentation, including site records, productivity, and compliance with Linxon & Client policies.

Qualifications:

• Site Supervisor Qualification
• Authorisation as Competent Person by one of the UK grid clients
• Minimum of CSCS / CPCS / ECITB Supervisor Safety Passport or equivalent

Experience Required:

• Experience in Electrical Transmission projects, including Mechanical and electrical installation Construction.
• Electricity Transmission or Distribution sector is preferred
• Experience in supervising staff on complex infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and update as needed
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Education:

• Preferred with Diploma in Engineering
