We are seeking a Owner's Representative Construction Manager to join our team in South, Florida, to lead and work on various Construction projects.

How will you contribute to the team?
- Oversee and manage contractor(s) construction activities to ensure compliance with the EPC contract, applicable permits, site regulations and construction safety program.
- Reviews, monitors and tracks construction schedule and progress and ensures overall project schedule compliance.
- Reviews and authorizes validity of contractor payment application.
- Reviews and recommends resolutions regarding contractual disputes between owner and contractor.
- Provides input to project weekly and monthly construction progress report.
- Participates in regular contractor construction meetings.
- Manages coordination of OEM Contract and Technical Advisors.
- Ensures safe efficient turnover of plant to Commissioning and Start-up at mechanical Completion.
- Coordinates with Commissioning and Start-up Manager and engineers to facilitate start-up of the project in accordance with operations agreed system turnover plan and plant performance testing and expectations.
- For the relevant project, manages the owner construction staff required for the project consisting of direct hires, contract employees and consultants and contractors.
- Manages compliance with industry standard and manufacturer required storage/preservation requirements.
- Assists as required to ensure that project documentation including turnover packages, as-builts, redlines, etc. are completed properly.
What will you contribute?
- Experience – Ten (10) or more years of experience as a Construction Manager within the Power Industry or worked within the waste-to-energy construction industry.
- Communication Skills – Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of the organization.
- Computer Skills – Competent and knowledgeable computer skills. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office Programs.
- Reasoning Ability – Use of basic reasoning, thinking “on your feet”, and ability to resolve issues quickly with little or no direction from a superior.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule format.
- Ability to make good judgments and render good decisions.
- Other Skills and Abilities – Ability to read and understand blueprints and coordinate many different activities.
- Ability to read and understand project schedules and other project reports to develop pre-planning opportunities.
