AtkinsRéalis are looking for a Planning Manager to pe part of the PMC team on a major programme in Riyadh, KSA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Map and maintain stakeholders register including any contact persons, terms of reference, MoU's, agreements, and the like.

  • Establish and Monitor the interfaces’ protocols between the Contractors and third parties contributing to optimal development and program set up for successful project delivery.

  • Facilitate cooperation between parties and stakeholders to ensure Interface Protocols are adhered to, identify any integration gaps and assist the Employer in interface and integration workshops.

  • Engage with key third party stakeholders effected by project works to understand their needs and concerns, taking measures to maintain effective relationships throughout the project and report to Client.

  • Develop an Interface Management Plan, specifying the methods and processes to be adopted in the identification, development, and agreement with Third Parties.

  • Monitor the development, assessment, negotiation, approval, and execution of commercial agreements between Client and third parties.

  • Provide input and solutions which allow for minimal third-party impact, whilst maintaining commercially effective project delivery.

  • Produce and maintain appropriate, standardized documents and regular reporting to the senior management and other stakeholders reflecting key issues, risks, resolutions, and performance to enable them to effectively understand risks and impacts on the project.

  • Ensure a collaborative approach is maintained across the team to facilitate the planning and delivery of interface works, ensuring all issues are clearly understood by teams and addressed, and appropriate interventions developed and implemented.

Qualifications & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field

  • Solid experience in Primavera P5

  • Minimum 15 years of project management experience in the construction and engineering industry with infrastructure bias

  • Site based KSA experience is mandatory

Skills & Competencies:

  • Essential experience in high end infrastructure projects.

  • Previous experience in PMC and project delivery on significant schemes.

  • Excellent communication skills, written and spoken English (Arabic preferred).

  • Strong presentation, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.

  • Exceptional project management skills highlighting organization, time management, and flexibility.

  • Proven competence in overseeing multiple packages of work simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, analytical skills, and the ability to evaluate intricate design challenges and propose innovative solutions.

  • Applied financial acumen and attention to best value for investment within agreed budgets, ensuring cost-effective design solutions without compromising quality.

  • Experience working with diverse and cross-functional team disciplines, fostering effective collaboration and integration of various stakeholders.

  • Results-driven mindset, consistently achieving project goals and driving success in design delivery.

  • Adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Previous Saudi Arabia experience is crucial, especially familiarity with construction procurement methods.
