Principal / Associate Civil Engineer - Epsom

Your purpose:

Are you a principal (associate) civil or structural engineer or consultant who can apply their expertise in leading our people, our business and projects? Are you a technical or subject matter expert and have experience leading large complex single and multidisciplinary projects in a highly regulated industry such as nuclear and power? Do you have significant experience in client and delivery management?

Are you chartered with a recognised civil or structural engineering institution (IStructE, ICE or other) in your current job, but want to invigorate your career and bolster your portfolio with exciting new projects within a buoyant industry? If so, we would like to hear from you.

We are looking for fulltime principal (associate) civil and structural engineers to join our growing team in Bristol, to support a wide range of new build nuclear projects including Hinkley Point C, Sizewell C, SMRs and future fusion reactor technologies.

You will be pivotal in cultivating strong working relationships as well as leading and growing our civil-structural capability.

Your experience in any of the following would be beneficial to the role but not all are required to apply:

• You have a relevant level of professional experience which could be derived from civil-structural design and analysis, research and development, engineering and design management or design consultancy.
• You can coordinate across and deliver multidisciplinary projects.
• You can lead and review design of new building structures and take responsibility for project ownership.
• You have worked in highly regulated environments such as nuclear, power or rail.
• You can work collaboratively from our offices and across our client sites to understand clients’ needs and deliver to time, cost and quality.
• You can write bids and produce tenders for complex projects to win new and ambitious projects.
• You can manage and lead teams to support the business and its projects.
