We are seeking a Supply chain and logistics manager

Role and Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire process in the planning of procurement and supply chain activities, inventory control, logistics and distribution, ensuring effectively functioning processes to avoid costly delays and lost opportunities. 

• Implement strategic procurement including sourcing strategy, supplier selection and evaluation, quality management, customer relationship management and performance measurement.

• Shape and manage the execution of the strategic objectives for the procurement and supply chain management function in line with the company Strategic Plan.

• Ensure effective lines of communication between the end user and the procurement team to ensure priority requirements, timely delivery of goods, works and services using the most appropriate procurement procedures.

• Manage and monitor all transactional procurement including tendering processes, evaluation, contracting, contract management, legal considerations and payment conditions, contractors, performance evaluation and risk assessment.

• Assessing budgets, capital expenditure management, negotiating commercial terms with vendors, concluding contracts, overseeing payments

• Optimizing logistics processes, contributing to reduced delivery times, and streamlining warehousing operations to reduce inventory holding costs and improve turnover rates.

• Develop and nurture relationships with the key vendors and service providers to support the scaling of projects.

• Maximize value for money through highly focused cost optimization programs in close co-operation with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

• Collaborate with other departments to align supply chain strategies with overall business goals.

• Hires, evaluates, and supervises employees. Prioritizes and assigns work and maintains professional development program for department staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

• Work with integrity and transparency at all time

• Follow and implement the QHSE guidelines and standards of the company

 Education and Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of related experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

• Certifications in Supply Chain Management, or related field
