AtkinsRéalis’s Minerals and Metals team in Canada is made up of more than 400 employees who work on large-scale projects to support mining sustainability, pit-to-port opportunities, metallurgical plant engineering, or mine closure and capabilities in the study, design, and construction of mining projects across a wide range of mining and processing methods and commodities. We are seeking a Project Administrator to join our North America Minerals & Metals (M&M) team and to support our growth to align with the demand to supply responsibly sourced critical minerals. Candidate must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and possess excellent organizational skills, while being a proactive self-starter with a strong record of taking initiative and delivering results independently.

This opportunity will be to support the M&M business located in Toronto.

Your role within the team:

  • Prepare documents according to the procedures established by the company and ensure the quality of presentation and uniformity.
  • Revise the spelling and structure of all tender documents as well as technical documents within the division.
  • Archive documents according to established procedures.
  • Assist in the travel booking.
  • Help in the preparation of letters, tables, expense reports and timesheets.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings and conference calls.
  • Manage office needs including office supply orders, mail, information technology service requests and any other related tasks.

The ideal candidate:

  • 5+ years of experience in project administration, with a strong preference for candidates with hands-on project coordination experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field; equivalent combinations of relevant education and extensive experience in project administration will be considered.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong emphasis on interpersonal abilities. Proven self-starter capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
