Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator will report to the C1R Vendor Delivery Project Manager and will be responsible for supporting the ordering and delivery of tools related to the C1R project. This role will require continuous communication with all members of the Vendor Delivery team as well as members of the greater C1R project, and will be responsible for identifying, planning, leading, and implementing various scopes of work.

For growth of the candidate, we may also rotate the successful employee through short-term assignments in other Candu Energy or AtkinsRéalis Nuclear project teams, to expose them to broader parts of the organization.

This role will be based in Mississauga-ON, Gugaon-IN

Your role within the Team:

  • Responsible for assigned scope of the project and accountable for performing duties that facilitate work progressing with safety, quality, schedule, cost, and contractual requirements.
  • Coordinates with Engineering to ensure all activities are progressing as per project schedule.
  • Supporting manufacturing and testing of all tooling systems through vendor subcontracts.
  • Working closely on behalf of the project organization with the procurement team to support Request for Quotation, vendor clarifications, and purchase order execution processes.
  • Coordinating closely with quality assurance to ensure all quality requirements of the project are met.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders as required generally including engineering, quality, procurement and tooling vendors.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with client project counterparts.
  • Coordinates with Engineering to ensure all activities are progressing as per project schedule.
  • Provides status and progress reports in support of the Vendor Delivery Manager.
  • Ensure a strong nuclear safety culture is reinforced continuously.
