AtkinsRéalis is hiring a Project Coordinator to support the Green Line LRT Project based in Calgary! The Green Line LRT (light rail transit) Project is the largest infrastructure investment in Calgary’s history. At 10-kms, it comes with $6.2billion in commitments from the Government of Canada, Government of Alberta and The City of Calgary. The Green Line LRT is designed to be both a transit system and a platform for future city building opportunities.  It encourages redevelopment and investment in Calgary businesses and communities.

Your role within the team:

• Support the project team in the execution of their duties.
• Coordinate designs, construction, and final acceptance with other City of Calgary divisions and/or Business Units.
• Assist coordination and engineering teams with designs, construction, and all phases of the project as it progresses.
• Interface, support, and coordinate the design in alignment with the Project Lands. 
• Participate and navigate design in technical meetings, (including but not limited to design criteria challenge sessions, review comments resolution), risk reviews, change management, claims and disputes resolution, and Provide support for reporting,

The ideal candidate:

• Bachelor degree in related engineering filed
• Minimum of 5 - 7 years of related experience in an infrastructure project engineering context. Experience in the areas of LRT systems, municipal infrastructure, public/institutional buildings, bridges, tunnels, or systems engineering will be preferred.  
• Strong written and verbal communicator with ability to communicate requirements and outcomes as they pertain to technical subjects. 
• Skills with project engineering software suites including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and others are considered an asset.
• Experience with cross disciplinary engineering design coordination and/or alternative project delivery models is an asset.
