We are searching for a Quality Manager to join our growing team in the AtkinsRéalis Vancouver or Burnaby office to support our projects within AtkinsRéalis Canada. The Quality Manager will be responsible for implementation and maintenance of the ISO 9001:2015  registered Quality Management System (QMS)  for the Canadian offices. 

Your role within the team:

To perform this role successfully, the Quality Manager will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Providing quality management leadership  and support on Bids and Projects including development and presentation of quality material to partners and clients to support Bids.
• Implementation and maintenance of Quality Management System for regional offices and projects including development and implementation of quality orientation, training programs, Correction program and when applicable, Corrective Action in respect to Nonconformities including monitoring of implementation of continuous improvement programs and client satisfaction.
• Role of Project Quality Manager on projects and supporting/mentoring  projects in quality requirements.
• Development of the working level documents and forms required to support the QMS including ensuring that relevant records are maintained and retained in accordance with the QMS
• Preparation of Audit Programs and scheduling, conducting, managing and participating in Internal and External Quality Audits (ISO/client)
• Development and presentation of data at the regular management review meetings with top management, including taking necessary actions to ensure effective operation and continuous improvement of the QMS.
• Supporting the Company Permit to Practice for EGBC, providing training and auditing projects for compliance with Permit to Practice requirements

The ideal candidate:

• University Degree or Diploma of Technology (civil, mechanical, electrical engineering preferred) P.Eng. is an asset for the position.
• A minimum of five (5) years quality management experience in engineering design, construction of mass transit and/or infrastructure projects.
• Trained Quality Auditor (ISO 9001 lead auditor training preferred) including excellent working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Standard and familiarity with various industry codes, standards and regulations governing quality management.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio, Access) and Proficiency with Autodesk Construction Cloud is an asset
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and leadership skills as well as the ability to work in a demanding multidisciplinary environment are essential for this position.

Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $106,000  - $145,750 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
