ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Roles and Responsibilities are predominantly related to pre-contract assignments and supporting the global business in delivery of project services, which are likely to be:

Analysis of project cost data received from businesses.
Preparation of feasibility studies using in house data.
Whole life costing/Updating cost reports.
Generating bills of quantities and other forms of pricing documentation.
Tender services including assessment and recommendations.
Identify discrepancies and resolve them by using standard procedures.
Carry out cost estimates for alternative solutions.
Support preparing cash flow forecasts for businesses / clients.
Works as part of a team to deliver overall business goals.
Required to establish and maintain a regular contact with the counterparts in businesses.

KEY SKILLS

Ideal Candidates will:
Be proficient in use of standard MS Software (Word, Excel, etc).
Have good written and verbal communication skills in the English Language required to effectively communicate with staff across the global business.
Possess good analytical / problem solving skills to sport deficiencies, discrepancies or ‘abnormals’ in data provided.
Have good attention to detail to ensure / verify accuracy of data.
Have good time management skills, be able to meet deadlines whilst working without supervision.
Be aware of the requirements for confidentiality.

QUALIFICATIONS

A Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical) or Science Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized Institution or University is desirable.
However, a minimum level diploma education in any of the above disciplines is mandatory.
Required 5 to 7 years Quantity Surveying experience.
Able to act on own initiative and proactive way.
Experience with BIM would be an advantage.
Experience using Cato Causeway software suite, Cost Ex or other BIM software / online take off software would be beneficial.
Experience in leading a team would be considered as an advantage
