Under the general supervision of the Manager, Candu Security Services, the Security Information Coordinator team member is responsible for performing a variety of complex clerical tasks requiring a thorough knowledge of company and/or project policies and procedures. This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, exercising judgment and initiative.

This role will be based in Mississauga, ON – Part Time (up to 3 days/week – On Site) 3-6 month contract

Your role within the team:

Under minimal supervision and with confidentiality and diplomacy, accountable to perform and manage a variety of complex and demanding office support duties ensuring smooth and successful operation of the department. Including, as applicable:

• Anticipate and effectively work with conflicting and changing priorities, ensuring that deadlines, priorities and objectives are met.
• Discreetly handle confidential documents including employee personnel and information in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Organizing and managing the flow of information within the department including maintaining documentation and organizing files electronically.
• Drafting, editing, and preparing various documents, reports, and presentations.
• Assisting with the use of office equipment and software.
• Maintain/upload project files in document control systems.
• Undertake special assignments as required or as assigned by Management.
• Ability to obtain government of Canada Level II Secret Security Clearance status.
• Serve as ACSO (Alternate Company Security Officer) in relation to the Designated Organization Screening and Facility Security Clearance with the government of Canada.
