We are looking for Senior Application Life Cycle Engineer to join our team.

This role will be based at our Atkins office in Bangalore/Gurgaon.

The Application Lifecycle Engineer will:

• Accept requests for new applications and challenge requirements where necessary
• Monitor, Maintain & Upgrade applications on the servers
• Create reports on License usage based on logs generated by Applications Setup, Configure and Support 3-tier architecture-based applications
• Work to agreed service level agreements using a call management system
• Maintain and improve the relevant processes
• Contribute towards building knowledge within the team
• Liaise with other teams to achieve solutions in a quick and efficient way

Experience and Requirements: (7+ years of experience) includes;

• Excellent knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019
• Excellent knowledge of SCOM – System Center Operations Manager
• Excellent knowledge of Software Metering, rules, queries, reporting etc.,
• Ability to use PowerShell scripting for automation
• Experience working on SQL Servers, need to know advanced SQL querying
• Expected to have knowledge on Application Logs & Crash log analysis
• Independently diagnose, troubleshoot, debug and resolve application issues
• Should understand Enterprise level Application Licensing methodologies (FlexLM, DSLS, LMX, CodeMeter, Gemalto etc.) (Configuring different types of licensing, Firewall settings)
• Good to have working knowledge on web-servers like IIS/Apache/Tomcat
• Basic understanding of programming languages (C#, Java, Python etc.)
• Working knowledge on SMTP/POP3/IMAP
• Understanding on Networking Concepts
• Good to know data analytics using Power Bi, should have ETL knowledge
• Good to know HTML, Jscript, CSS
• Understanding on VMware, Hyper-V and Citrix environments
• Good understanding Azure Technologies
• Server migrations
• License configuration on windows server
• Hardware configurations on VM through Firmware.
