Senior Project Manager
Our Philadelphia office is growing! This Lead position maintains a dual focus on practice related services (senior level guidance and management of the delivery of all project management related services) and internal business operations (active senior level participation and leadership related to business development, financial management, and staff development matters). Has significant independent responsibility for assignments including entire projects where the project scope and complexity are extensive. Responsibilities
-Provide trusted, independent, proactive advice to the client’s Capital Projects team supporting fully their role in
delivering projects and meeting the strategic objectives of the business.
-Manage the flow and drive Business Case approvals through formal governance processes to align with the capital
improvement plan.
-Ensure compliance with client’s governance and controls requirements, documenting adherence and variances and
presenting findings.
-Provide commercial assurance and time assurance across the programs and at project level, with challenges /
alternates / reviews / benchmarking / good practice and feedback to the client’s capital project leads.
-Support the reporting of all performance KPI’s and monthly supply chain performance reporting.
-Collect, refine and collate information for future budget year Capital Investment Plan (CIP), liaising with internal
stakeholders. Maintain accurate and consistent data, collating a rolling Capital Investment Plan.
-Monthly reporting and forecasting on Capital Investment Plan (CIP) progress and responding to any ad hoc requests
as may be required from time to time.
-Drive consistency and accuracy into all reporting and forecasting.
-Oversight of the CIP Pipeline and Approved projects, ensuring expedient delivery with requisite challenging of
underperformance against approval, financial and schedule targets.
-Develop centralized Regional risk register with identification of common risks and subsequent mitigation measures.
-Implement strategic objectives and proactively support the CRE and Capital Projects departments.
-Provide operational support arranging meetings, preparing agendas and issuing minutes and the like. Maintain
proactive rolling calendar of all reporting requirements and deadlines to ensure timely preparedness.
-Arrange / attend meetings for funding approval boards and prepare and issue agendas / minutes recording approvals
and risk acceptance by business units

Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying or a related field, plus seven years relevant experience
-Must be highly articulate, have clear and analytical approach to problem solving, and strong decision making
abilities. Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
-Must possess a thorough understanding of Project Management, Building Design & Construction, Critical Path
-Method (CPM) Scheduling, Building Cost Modeling and Risk Analysis. Should have a general understanding of
-Primavera, Expedition/Prolog or similar, and Faithful+Gould proprietary Epoch and CATO software.
-Must thoroughly understand and utilize Information Technology in the performance of work including Internet,
-Intranet, Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
-Experience with the execution of projects in a Corporate Real Estate environment is a plus
-Project Management Professional (PMP) [certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI) Global Accreditation
Centre (GAC)] and/or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) [certified by the Construction Manager Certification
Institute (CMCI), an independent administrative body of the Construction Management Association of America
(CMAA)] highly desirable.
