SharePoint Specialist

We are seeking a SharePoint Specialist to join us on a part-time temporary basis to support a specific project. We would like to utilize SharePoint to create a candidate pipeline that will give us the collaboration and productivity solutions that is demanded in our industry. This is a great opportunity for the individual who is seeking professional experience in Data Base management in an International 12.1 billion CAD company. The hours must be within 8am-12pm (M_F) to collaborate with our peers in India. We are located DT Minneapolis and would require the individual to start on the project at the office site.

Pay is dependent upon experience and flexibility.

Responsibilities

-Develop solutions for the SharePoint platforms which may include custom design parts, custom features, workflows, branding, apps, etc.

-Collaborate with administrators to ensure solutions align to long-term SharePoint strategy.

-Work with business partners to gather requirements and work towards efficient SharePoint-based solutions.

-Collaborate with support teams to help troubleshoot and resolve issues with custom solutions.

Requirements

-Strong understanding of SharePoint capabilities and limitations.

-Ability to demonstrate capabilities around depth of knowledge and skills with SharePoint.

Preferred Skills

-Strong familiarity with JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, XML, XSLT, HTML and related web developer technologies.

-Knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, SharePoint server and client object models

-Experience working with SharePoint in a developer capacity

-Advanced level SharePoint development experience with a proven track record for delivering high-quality solutions. Experience include developing custom workflows.

-Microsoft Certification, such as MCPD and MCTS would be an asset
