The pipeline and opportunities for strategic and major projects in UAE for Atkins Transport & Infrastructure (T&I) Division are significant. An opportunity exists for a driven, ambitious and self-motivated person to take a critical role in growing Atkins T&I Water Business across UAE.
 
The role is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE but will also requires working and travel throughout UAE and possibly across the wider region (including KSA, Qatar, Oman or Bahrain) and when required, sometimes at short notice. Potential candidates must therefore be in a position to travel and work occasionally across the Middle East.
 
You will be required to provide the senior interface between project ownership and delivery. You will be required to act as the single focal point of contact with the Client, possibly across multiple project packages, to ensure that the desired project objectives are delivered. You must have adequate knowledge and information about the business and the project in order to make informed value-add decisions for both the Client and the Company.

Requirements:

   
We are currently looking for a Project Manager/Master Planner based in Abu Dhabi to work with clients across the UAE region. Requirements for the role include:
  • European or US Registered Chartered Engineer
  • Degree qualified
  • At least 20 years experience in wet infrastructure systems
  • Previously managed large water/wastewater projects in the Middle East
  • Experience working in the Middle East for at least 5 years and with some exposure to the UAE.
  • Project Management on wastewater and/or storm water master plan is essential
