We are hiring! AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Water Resources Engineering Intern to join our Tallahassee, Florida office.

Our Internship Program is designed for college students pursuing a degree in a STEM field and provides opportunities to learn what it’s like to work in a professional environment and apply what’s learned in class to the real-world challenges we face every day.

How will you contribute to the team?

• Organizing, scheduling, and prioritizing assignments and tasks.
• Responsible for data input data into advanced computer programs under supervision.
• Assist with hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, modeling and floodplain delineations using GIS-based engineering and mapping tools.
• Assist with preparing engineering reports documenting the work performed and findings of investigations.

What will you contribute?

• EXPERIENCE: Demonstration of previous professional employment, strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
• EDUCATION: Seeking a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
• SPECIAL SKILLS: Experience in ArcGIS, ICPRv4, AutoCAD/Microstation/Open Roads and demonstrated knowledge of hydrology, open channel hydraulics, and stormwater systems is an advantage.
