Launching the Global Emerging Professionals Network at AtkinsRéalis

The vision and purpose behind our Global EP Network

The idea for the Global EP Network came from collaborative discussions between our Emerging Professionals (EPs) and AtkinsRéalis Fellows. It all started at a recent Fellows Connect Conference at our Global Technology Centre in Bangalore, India. Through in-depth conversations and feedback sessions, a plan began to take shape. With support from the Fellows, GTN Chairs, and leaders in HR and Learning & Talent Development, this vision quickly turned into action.

Meeting the needs of emerging professionals at AtkinsRéalis

Looking at the challenges faced by EP groups in different regions, we saw the need for a unified approach to support professional development and networking across the organization. While many EP groups had formed on their own, they needed a consistent way to collaborate and share resources between regions. This insight sparked a global discussion involving each regional EP group. Over 200 business leaders and EP representatives came together to find solutions. The result was incredible—more than 200 ideas were proposed to enhance the experience and impact of EPs around the world.

Our Global EP Framework: Enhancing career development and collaboration

With these insights, we created the Global EP Framework, which focuses on five key themes to strengthen our community. It aims to:

• Connect EP groups across different regions
• Reduce duplicate efforts by sharing resources
• Highlight professional development opportunities
• Amplify the EP voice inside AtkinsRéalis under one global structure
• Provide consistent support to EPs worldwide

This framework is our commitment to building a stronger, more globally connected EP community where support and collaboration thrive.
