As a UI/UX apprenticeship program, you will help in design and implementation of all the experiences a user has when interacting with our product be it the web or mobile apps. You will work closely with our design team, frontend engineering team and the product manager to ensure seamless web/mobile design and the successful implementation of UI/UX best practices and principles across all our digital platforms.

First and foremost, we're looking for people who are excited about what we're doing -- you don't need to know anything about lot but should be excited to learn. We're building in an entirely new space, so you'll be able to use creativity to help us solve problems and delight our customers. We're really looking for a creative star! You need to be able to turn our software into super intuitive and easy to use products for the end users. If you are someone who can create stories and visuals and marry the two into a and they lived happily ever after fairytale, then this role is definitely for you!

Eligibility

• Freshers – 2021/2022/2023 pass out batch only
• Eligibility – 65 % and above with no active backlogs
• With prior experience: Candidate with one (1) year of work experience are eligible provided they should NOT have registered under any statutory schemes (PF, Gratuity etc.)
• Shortlisted candidate will be employed as an Apprentice for 6 months on a fixed stipend.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and evaluate user requirements seamlessly in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
• Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets.
• Build page navigation buttons and search fields.
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like.
• Create original graphic designs (e. g. images, sketches and tables).
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e. g. responsiveness).
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images.

Requirements:

• Must be flexible, independent and a self-starter who can work with little supervision.
• Love thinking creatively, well organized, responsible, and dedicated to fulfil multiple projects requests while simultaneously meeting tight deadlines.
• Must experiment and learn new software's to speed up and facilitate the design process.
• Must be receptive to constructive feedback and act to deliver creative output.
• Excited for a front-row seat into a fast-growing startup. Things will change a lot.
• Enjoy thinking through trade-offs, with both mindfulness of short-term needs and our long-term direction.
• You are driven and care about doing a good job and improving your craft.
• You have a growth mindset, can keep up with the latest technology changes and trends and suggest enhancements based on these.
• Most importantly, you're the kind of person who is friendly, approachable, ready to help others and personally driven to put your best foot forward.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience with a directed focus on UI/UX.
• An online portfolio or samples of work showcasing your stunning aesthetic sense that allows us to understand your design skills is a must.
• Exposure across UI/UX design tools - Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Balsamiq, InVision, Sketch, Whimsical, Visio.
• Attention to detail is a must. We love our designers to be pixel perfect crazy.
• Exceptional sense of typography, imagery, colors, composition, and visual layouts.
• Ability to gracefully defend your design decisions to executive management.
• Stay abreast & implement recent developments in the design industry.
