We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our accounting team in Tampa, FL. The Accounting Manager reports to the Corporate Controller and will be responsible for finance and accounting operations related to the US Center of Excellence for Controllership and Statutory Reporting at AtkinsRealis. While managing a team of professional accountants, the Accounting Manager works closely with our Financial Shared Services Centers in Romania as well as our Finance Business Partners. The role also includes close and ongoing liaison with the Corporate Reporting, Treasury and Taxation on all financial reporting, risk, audit, and internal control matters. 
This is a hybrid position that requires to be on-site 3 days a week.

How will you contribute to the team?
•    Manages the financial accounting and statutory reporting of all legal entities under the US - Center of Excellence.
•    Supervising the monthly financial activities including review of journal entries, financial reports, account reconciliations and analysis.
•    Ensure financial record systems and processes are maintained in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as well as with company standard procedures.
•    Responsible for the preparation and analysis of cashflow budgets and forecast.
•    Maintain a system of internal controls over financial reporting.
•    Coordinating and preparing all statutory financial filings.
•    Supporting the operations with financial information requests.
•    Manage accounting team and responsible for hiring, training, providing feedback and mentoring staff members.
•    Ensure that all period-end internal financial reporting deadlines are respected by the US Center of Excellence.
•    Responsible for ensuring AtkinsRealis policies, procedures, and internal controls over financial reporting are implemented and operating effectively.
•    Takes a proactive approach in identifying, communicating and resolving financial operational matters as well as collaborating with and acting as a liaison between Finance Business Partners and Financial Shared Services to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
•    Support and coordinate the internal/external audits and to follow up and resolve outstanding audit recommendations as required.
•    Act as change leader and support the implementation of new tools and processes.
•    Cultivate a continuous improvement mindset.
What will you contribute?
•    BS Accounting or equivalent required; Advance degree preferred.
•    Professional accounting designation (CPA, Chartered Accountant or equivalent) is requied.
•    A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance in a similar role, and with similar industry experience in terms of size, operations and complexity.
•    Minimum of 3 years in managing employees.
•    English – Full professional proficiency.
•    Ability to go beyond the boundaries of the financial controllership portfolio and engage with stakeholders in Financial Shared Services, Finance Business Partners and well as within Operations.
•    Leads by example in Ethics, Compliance, and Health & Safety.
•    Strives for high quality and continuous improvement.
•    Provides day-to-day leadership and supervision of 2-3 financial accountants.
•    Encourage innovation and collaboration.
•    Promote team spirit and respect for all.
•    Strong communicator, persistent, and resilient.
