Atkins seeks an energetic, highly motivated, detail-oriented, self-starter to join our Miami group as a Architecture CAD Technician. Under supervision, provides competency in computer-assisted drafting to support the technical services of the company.

Job Duties:

Performs computer-aided drafting and design work of considerable complexity.

Basic CAD/Drafting skills is required.

Incumbents at this level are able to work from verbal or written specifications.

Performs site visits to create existing conditions plans and photographic record.

Performs accessibility audits of stores.

Qualifications:

Candidate must have a valid Florida Driver’s license.

Occasional travel within South Florida is required.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma (or equivalent) plus six years related experience OR an Associate’s Degree in a related technical field plus four years related experience is required.

Special Skills:

Ability to interpret technical specifications

Good math skills and CAD skills preferred.

MicroStation and/or Revit a plus, but not required.
