Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Resident Engineer (Site Operations) to join our dynamic team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will assist in managing the construction process, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with the Resident Engineer and project team, liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Resident Engineer in overseeing day-to-day construction activities and monitoring progress.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality control measures.
  • Review and approve contractor submissions, including shop drawings, method statements, and material approvals.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and meeting minutes.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to resolve any site-related issues.
  • Support the preparation of progress reports and presentations for management and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, standards, and environmental policies.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide technical input as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the UAE, specifically within consultancy roles.
  • Over all 10+ years mandatory .
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, contract management, and relevant engineering principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office).
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of local construction regulations and standards in the UAE.
