Location: Gurugram and Noida.

EICA projects we carry out involve some of the following discipline items, including:

  • LV and HV (upto33kV) power distribution systems, motor control centers, process instrumentation, process automation, and state of the art control systems.
  • P&IDs, 3D designs, plant visualization, and virtual reality techniques.
  • DSEAR/ATEX and functional safety.
  • Writing Specifications and reports.
  • Using our own suite of intelligent design schedules and MCC design tool.

Role requirements:

  • B.Tech/M.Tech qualified with an EICA bias.
  • A sound understanding of electrical engineering principles and international standards.
  • Should be positive and enthusiastic, a confident communicator at all levels, and a team player.
  • Have a keen interest in the water/wastewater industry and will ideally have already spent a proportion of your career in the water or a related similar industry that can be applied.
  • A developing external profile and reputation; a desire and willingness to raise the profile of oneself and the Company.
  • Willingness to contribute to and develop our technical knowledge networks.
  • Technically competent and ability to use engineering judgement independently to determine solutions.
  • Prepare Technical Reports, specifications and contractual documents of acceptable technical and presentational quality with minimum guidance.
  • Apply new ideas/digital idea to improve solutions and processes to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • A sound understanding of Electrical and Instrumentation engineering principles and their application in Water and Wastewater treatment plant processes and pumping stations.
  • Preliminary, Detailed & AFC/IFC electrical and ICA design work (transformers, generators, LVSB, MCC, instrumentation, PLC, SCADA, telemetry etc.) including equipment and system specifications, design schedules, drawings: SLDs, BCDs, earthing, lighting, lightning protection, systems architecture diagrams, user requirement specifications (URS/FDS), technical design risk assessments, P&IDs.
  • Technical report writing at all stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Liaison with clients within the Middle East/UK and worldwide.
  • Delivering projects as a part of multidisciplinary, multi-location, multi-party teams.
  • Preparing profile-raising material such as technical papers and presentations to conferences, staff, internal publications and clients.
  • Supporting and technically developing less experienced colleagues.
  • Contributing to new innovative ideas/ making suggestions for innovation.
  • Working with and developing new automated digital design tools.
  • Software- AutoCAD working knowledge is essential and AutoCAD, Revit/ Plant 3D would be an added advantage. Should have a working knowledge of 3D Models etc. such as Navis works.
  • Experience on Software’s like Dialux, AMTECH, ETAP etc.
