Due to our continuing expansion, we currently have an opportunity for an Assistant Highways Engineer on multi-disciplinary offshore executed projects from Bangalore/Mumbai, India.

Working in a multidisciplinary team of designers and engineers providing a professional design service to our clients, this is an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to develop their international experience with a world-renowned consultant.
Requirements:

Essential:

• Qualified Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed College/ Institute.
• Knowledge in highways design codes and standards. (KSA/Qatar/UAE/DMRB/AASHTHO).
• Experience User of MX / Open Road Designer/ Geometric Design / Civil 3D.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills.

Desirable:

• Holds a master’s degree in a relevant discipline.  

Responsibilities:

You will be part of the Highways team carrying out the design of a range of elements associated with highway projects. You will be responsible for:

• Design of highway elements.
• Maintaining technical quality standards.
• Delivering projects to time and budget.
• Liaising with lead project offices/clients in a responsive and client focused manner.

The Individual:

The successful candidate will need to:

• Be highly self-motivated and ambitious.
• Be able to work with guidance/ mentorship from Seniors.
• Have the ability to adapt to different cultures and working environments to build rapport with customers.
• Be able to build excellent working relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Have the experience of using written and spoken English within a business environment.
• The position is to be based in Bangalore.
