Duties & Essential Job Functions:

• Set up and implement the latest design software on projects i.e. Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks.
• Set up and implement the latest cloud-based collaboration systems on projects i.e. Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and SharePoint.
• Proactively review and evaluate automations such as Dynamo, Python, Forge to see how they can be utilised efficiently on projects.
• Participate in our Global Technical Networks to develop efficient company workflows and processes and recommend the adoption and / or development of tools to facilitate.
• Develop a thorough understanding of AtkinsRéalis corporate standards and take part in reviews and updates of these standards and templates i.e. Global Design Framework
• Automate routines in BIM to support tasks and design teams across all project stages.
• Assist in developing and enforcing BIM documentation and BIM process for statutory submissions.
• Facilitate training for internal staff on BIM and the authoring tools used at AtkinsRéalis.
• Maintain a high level of competency of all BIM software tools used at AtkinsRéalis.
• Continuous professional development through attendance at conferences, seminars and workshops for BIM and Digital Design Delivery.
• Lead BIM delivery on projects, in accordance with AtkinsRéalis Corporate Standards, Client requirements and engagement and industry best practice i.e. ISO 19650.
• Be responsible for BIM Execution Plans and BEP implementation and development.
• Inspire others with practical uses of BIM uses as defined in the latest DevB Technical Circulars.
• Manage the project Common Data Environment (CDE) configuration and the distribution of information to specific stakeholders.
• Present project progress at coordination meetings internally and externally.
• Identify and mitigate information management risk throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirement:

• Degree holder in Architecture, Civil / Structural Engineering, or related disciplines.
• CIC Certified BIM Manager (CCBM).
• At least 10 years’ experience delivering multi-disciplined design projects in BIM.
• Advanced understanding of BIM processes and the ability to develop this on new projects.
