What you’ll be doing?

In C&I we like to talk about the Project Life Cycle. This means all activities needed to deliver a project from cradle to grave or technically from concept to decommissioning. Typically, this covers activities such as:

  • Concept Design (identifying the client’s requirements, optioneering solutions and estimating the costs and delivery schedule).
  • Detailed Design (developing, reviewing, HAZOP, HAZAN, FMEA and substantiating the design to a point where you could supply and install equipment from the design documentation).
  • Supply (procurement, manufacture, testing, inspection and qualification of equipment).
  • Installation (installation, testing and commissioning of plant and equipment at site); and Decommissioning (dismantling a site to the point that it no longer requires measures for radiation protection).

All the activities involve C&I engineers, you may have been involved in one or more of these activities in your career or maybe want to be involved in a new area of the Project Lifecycle.
