Civil Structural Engineer - Team Manager

Our Nuclear & Power business is already well established in Sheffield, and we’re keen for you to grow the civil-structural new build capability there to support projects including Hinkley Point C, Sizewell C, SMRs and future fusion reactor technologies.

You’ll have the strength of our wider new build 500+ strong team alongside you, providing support to deliver excellence to our clients whilst you help grow our Sheffield civils capability. Your role will be pivotal in achieving our ambitious growth plans.

Your experience in any of the following would be beneficial to the role but not all are required to apply:

• A relevant level of professional experience, ideally MICE or MIStructE derived from civil-structural design and analysis, research and development, engineering and design management or design consultancy.
• Team leadership, line management, pastoral care, and development of others.
• Collaboration across multiple locations to deliver complex single or multidisciplinary projects including concept and detailed design.
• A proven track record of excellent client engagement skills with an ability to develop work winning opportunities.
• An understanding of the commercial aspects to enable effective financial management of a consultancy team.
