Contract Manager - Energy

AtkinsRéalis is seeking Contracts Managers and Claims experts with experience in energy projects. You will join our business to support leading clients with contract management, claims and dispute resolution for energy and infrastructure projects in the UK&I.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting and negotiation of main contracts throughout the lifecycle of project development and execution.
• Working alongside the project management team to ensure a successful project delivery, balancing risk with solutions that are commercially and contractually viable.
• Overview over critical milestones, assessing and managing in line with contractual obligations.
• Direct and process change, variations and claims on the project in compliance with our client’s commercial interests.
• Provide interpretation of contracts, process correspondence with parties of the Contract and monitor the delivery of contractual obligations.
• Manage the commercial relationship and communication with contractors during the delivery stage of the project sustaining close dialogue to ensure that issues are dealt with proactive foresight.
• Ensure timely delivery of the contract within the set mandate.
• Drive governance processes and required presentation material towards different stakeholders and decision bodies such as the Steering Committee.
• Contribute to further developing processes regarding contract and claims management.
• FIDIC or EPCI contract experience.
• Participate or host informal and formal training sessions with our AtkinsRéalis teams and practices.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking passionate and motivated contract management professionals that are aligned to our Vision and motivated by the opportunities and challenges of working for AtkinsRéalis. Ideally you will have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field of study.
• Experience in a similar role, preferably in a matrix organization.
• Experience within offshore or onshore wind or renewable energy industry. Experience in major infrastructure and energy projects.
• Experience with leading and managing key project contracts.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
• Structured and methodical way of working.
• Capability to project manage processes and lead negotiations.
