The Contracts Administrator, with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in managing and performing the administration of Contracts, shall coordinate and perform contract administration activities including but not limited to amendments, variation orders, contractual letters, claims assessments, minutes of meetings, etc… to ensure the Contractors meet their contractual obligations while coordinating & leading the required departments to ensure compliance with any legal, financial & corporate protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for accurate administration of Contracts and timely execution of applicable clauses as required.
  • Drafting contractual reports and correspondence.
  • Managing Claims and Variations to ensure a robust response in compliance with the Contract.
  • Redacting contractual letters and taking the lead in coordinating with internal key players of the organization to address variations and claims matters.
  • Processing Contractors’ invoices.
  • Ensuring the O&M Contractors fulfilment of all contractual obligations in accordance with the Contract.
  • Preparation of contractual presentations.
  • Driving progression via contractual progress meetings.
  • Documenting and addressing change and claim matters.
  • Ensuring that all Project departments understand and adhere to the contractual obligations.
  • Liaison with the client, providing progress reports and advising on any contractual risks and opportunities.

Mandatory Experience

  • Experience in managing large contracts a must (greater than 50 million SAR).
  • Experience in Middle East for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Knowledge of Operations and Maintenance O&M Contracts would be an advantage.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects/contracts and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in administering and managing various forms of Contract including standard form and bespoke.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the legal requirements involved in specific contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Membership with a recognized institution e.g., MRICS, MCIARB.
  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience dedicated in Contract Administration.
