Contracts and Commercial Director (Saudi National)

Key Responsibilities

· Provide leadership to the Contract Management function including pre-award Procurement, Contract Administration, claims management / dispute resolution, and contract close-out for piling related contracts.

· Assist Project Team members with queries regarding Contracts procedures, processes and guidelines.

· Advise the Leadership Team on all contractual matters and claims requiring escalation.

· Attend Contractor and Consultant progress meetings as required.

· Review of tender documents in respect of contractual matters, scope gaps and discrepancies and managing the closure of these matters as required.

· Participate on Commercial Evaluation Panel during the procurement process.

· Provide formal written reports on the Contracts and Procurement status and issues to management.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Over 15 years of experience, with at least 5 years senior executive experience earned with Project Management Consultant’s.

Extensive knowledge of all facets of construction contract implementation. General requirements

Ability to analyse and resolve complex issues, both logical and interpersonal. Ability to negotiate efficiently and effectively.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience leading and managing high performing individuals and teams.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with a diverse group of individuals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent qualification.
