AtkinsRealis is seeking to appoint an experienced Design Coordinator to join our team in the Middle East within our KSA offices in Riyadh or Dammam. The Design Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the design team throughout the project lifecycle. This position involves coordinating design projects, managing timelines, and ensuring effective communication among team members and stakeholders. The candidate will have relevant experience in PMC environments and a strong passion for innovative design.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and overseeing design projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Serve as a liaison between designers, clients, and other departments to facilitate collaboration and keep all parties informed of project progress.

  • Prepare and maintain design documentation, including project briefs, timelines, and budgets. Ensure all files are organized and accessible.

  • Assist designers with research, sourcing materials, and preparing presentations. Help in creating design mock-ups and prototypes as needed.

  • Review design outputs for accuracy and consistency, ensuring they align with project goals and brand standards.

  • Collect and organize feedback from clients and stakeholders, ensuring it is communicated effectively to the design team.

  • Stay updated on design trends and best practices, sharing insights with the team to inspire innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, or a related field preferred.

  • Proven experience in a design coordination role in hospitality and mixed-use projects.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A keen eye for design detail and aesthetics.

  • Familiarity with local design regulations and standards in Saudi Arabia is a plus.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and timelines.

  • Passion for design and a desire to contribute to a creative team.
