As a provider of multi-disciplined technical services to the built environment, Atkins is committed to design excellence in the delivery of first class solutions which combine, innovation, imagination and best practice.
We currently have a need for an Electrical Inspector who will be responsible for ensuring compliance with contract requirements on electrical work carried out by the contractor.

Responsibilities

  • To review and approve contractor submittals, resolve technical issues arising and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • Carry out inspection of works in progress
  • Ensure contractor compliance with contract specifications and approved shop drawings
  • Assist Site Resident Engineer with review of shop drawing and material submittals.
  • Monitor and report contractor progress and all activities

Essential

  • Ideal candidates are those who are in Saudi Arabia with transferrable iqama
  • Minimum Electrical Engineering Diploma qualified
  • Minimum of 5-7 years experience in electrical engineering
  • Previous site inspection experience
  • Understanding of British, American and International design standards. Working knowledge of ICAO standards would be a distinct benefit.
  • Good communication skills in written and spoken English essential
