Role Summary

Reporting directly to the CEO of Australia & New Zealand, the Energy Market Lead will hold a pivotal position in spearheading revenue generation, formulating market strategies, and ensuring the successful execution of projects within the Energy sector.

As an integral member of the AtkinsRéalis ANZ Senior Leadership Team, the Energy Market Lead will oversee various aspects of business operations and financial performance to ensure compliance with all relevant procedures and legislation. Key responsibilities encompass, but are not restricted to:
 

• Strategy Design & Implementation: Forge and execute a comprehensive strategy that positions our company at the forefront of the sector's contribution to the energy transition.

• Sector Mapping: Identify and map out opportunities where our expertise can best support advancements in Power and Renewables.

• Leadership: Take a seat at the top table, influencing the direction of our organisation and ensuring the integration of our strategic goals with our day-to-day operations.

• Growth & Impact: Drive growth within the company while making a tangible difference to our communities and the broader energy sector.
   

Desired Skills, Experience and Capabilities
 

• Bachelor's degree in field of practice. Post graduate degree preferred. Management coursework and/or MBA desirable.

• Specific construction / contractor experience in the delivery of infrastructure for Energy projects.

• Strategic thinker with business acumen and project finance oversight.     

• Self-starter requiring limited oversight reporting to Senior Leadership Team (SLT).

• Proven ability to manage individuals and teams, provide leadership, and manage project production.

• Highly skilled at promoting the firm and negotiating advantageous contracts.

• Must have business vision, excellent communication skills, and be able to represent the company effectively to clients, key public officials, and the community in general.
