We are seeking a Finance Business Partner in UAE.

Key Responsibilities;

  • Financial management support and business partner to FD, Sub-division Heads, and wider Management Team;

  • Achieving robust financial management, controls & reporting, through continuous process and reporting improvement and implementation;

  • Drive focus on achieving key financial KPI’s through playing a key role in bid and project analysis, oversight and project reviews;

  • Ensure compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other areas of internal compliance;

  • Responsible for quality and accuracy of all financial information;

  • Manage a small support team, organising tasks, priorities and people, supporting learning & development, and seeing through deliverables with positive engagement.

  • Responsible for achieving deadlines without compromising on quality or accuracy of the deliverables produced;

  • Identify process gaps and reporting improvements – question current process and propose better well-thought through solutions, and implement through to completion;

  • Provide ad-hoc support to wider stakeholder group, as may be required.

  • The individual should be a proven business partner and a highly motivated self-starter who values the importance of reliable and accurate data as the platform for finance. Within AtkinsRéalis it is important that this individual, and wider finance, advocates for strong business partnering, but also operates with independence from the operational businesses they support. They must be able to manage multiple (sometimes conflicting) stakeholders.

Requirements;

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business

  • Accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW etc).

  • Post qualification 5 years+ experience

Essential Criteria

  • Financially & commercially aware with ability to see the bigger picture;

  • Driven focus on control and accuracy;

  • Business partner but with proven ability to remain independent when appropriate;

  • Ability to manage/get the required support from direct reports and influence other teams;

  • Accomplished written and numeric report writing skills;

  • Accomplished communication and influencing skills;

  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage a team to accomplish key deliverables;

  • Prior experience of working with a global engineering company.

Desirable Criteria

  • Managerial and strategic mindset;

  • Interest in technology adoption;

  • Understanding of tax regimes in GCC;

  • Ability to mentor finance and non-finance staff.
