Reporting to the Digital Solutions Manager, the Full-Stack Developer will play a key role in designing and managing the application development for various standalone and web based digital solutions in the Nuclear Digital product portfolio. The job will require in-depth work on Back end apps, databases, and server infrastructure including system architecture design. Additionally, the job will require some ability to provide basic front-end user interfaces development.
Location – Mississauga, ON
Your role within the team:
- Design and implementation / management of the overall architecture
- Customizing / implementation of validated UI/UX.
- Database design, validation, deployment.
- Ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability.
- Design and construction of the required APIs.
- Design and implementation of continuous integration and deployment in an Agile DevOps environment.
- Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions.
- Design client-side and server-side architecture.
- Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design.
- Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.
- Create security and data protection settings.
- Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design.
- Write technical documentation.
- Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software.

The ideal candidate:
- Education in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or relevant field.
- 3-5 years of proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
- Experience developing desktop, web, and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with common technology stacks.
- Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery).
- Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Python, Java) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js).
- Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be a team player and work well in multi-discipline teams.
- Must have great attention to detail.
- Must have good time management and organizational skills and be effective at working on multiple concurrent projects.
- Must have an analytical mind.
- Experience in collaborating with multi discipline teams to develop ML solutions in a cloud based environment.
- Solid understanding of data science, and the ability to relate data to value delivery
- Experience in SaaS / XaaS delivery models.
- Experience in managing app development projects in a mature DevOps environment.
