Qualification:

• A civil engineering degree.
• 15 years of relevant experience in traffic and transportation engineering (Preferably for Canada or US region).
• Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Strong technical skills in traffic engineering and transportation planning.

Experience:

• Carrying out multimodal analyses on a variety of traffic and transportation projects, including Transportation master plan studies, TIS, and Signal optimization projects and …
• Expertise in transportation and traffic engineering software such as Aimsun, VISSIM, VISUM, Synchro, VISTRO and HCM.
• In developing policies, guides or conceptual plans and designs related to soft mobility (traffic calming measures, active transportation, etc.) and universal accessibility.
• Traffic safety analysis (safety auditing, relevant statistical methods, and benefit/cost analysis).
• Knowledge of transit Operations.

Please note that the following will be considered assets:

• Experience in ITS and advanced traffic management systems.
• Experience in Auto-Turn analysis.
• Experience with temporary condition construction staging analysis and traffic controls.
• Bilingual French/English.
