Qualification:
- A civil engineering degree.
- 15 years of relevant experience in traffic and transportation engineering (Preferably for Canada or US region).
- Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Strong technical skills in traffic engineering and transportation planning.
Experience:
- Carrying out multimodal analyses on a variety of traffic and transportation projects, including Transportation master plan studies, TIS, and Signal optimization projects and …
- Expertise in transportation and traffic engineering software such as Aimsun, VISSIM, VISUM, Synchro, VISTRO and HCM.
- In developing policies, guides or conceptual plans and designs related to soft mobility (traffic calming measures, active transportation, etc.) and universal accessibility.
- Traffic safety analysis (safety auditing, relevant statistical methods, and benefit/cost analysis).
- Knowledge of transit Operations.
Please note that the following will be considered assets:
- Experience in ITS and advanced traffic management systems.
- Experience in Auto-Turn analysis.
- Experience with temporary condition construction staging analysis and traffic controls.
- Bilingual French/English.
