We are hiring! The Mechanical Engineer is an integral part of our HVAC and Building Services Team. This is an entry-level position and is based out of Exton, PA.

How will you contribute to the team?

• Work under the direction of senior engineers solving complex problems.
• Acquire knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection systems.
• Perform such other duties as the Supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.
• Project site visits to assist Engineer with surveys.
• Utilize standard office software.
• Develop familiarity with CAD software and related equipment and procedures.
• Take on-line software training programs and read manuals and other instructional materials to develop familiarity with CAD products and company/departmental procedures.
• Drafting in 2D (AutoCAD) and 3D (Revit) to support the technical services of the company.
• Enter basic data, as instructed, such as measurements and commands, to generate construction drawings, renderings, report graphics and other digital images.
• Edit existing designs, following detailed instructions.
• Check drawings to verify completeness, clarity, and accuracy, and present to supervisor for review.
• Complete Quality Management Training and comply with the program upholding a commitment to a culture of quality in all aspects of work.

What will you contribute?

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor of Science Degree in one of the following:
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Architectural Engineering
• Zero to two years’ experience, or Internship experience with an HVAC and Building Services Engineering firm working on pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, and/or industrial projects is a plus.

SPECIAL SKILLS

• Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Capable of developing technical writing.
• Good communications skills.
• AutoCAD and Revit are a plus.
• Carrier HAP or Trane Trace, Bluebeam, Navisworks is a plus.

PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS

• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) is a plus.
