AtkinsRealis is currently looking for a Mechanical Technologist to join our engineering team in Mississauga, Ontario.

Your role within the team:

• Organized & maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with company policies.
• Demonstrates some expertise in a technical specialty.
• Demonstrates sound mechanical dexterity skills with tools and equipment.
• Prepares or contributes to technical reports, memoranda and procedures
• Frequent travel to vendor and project sites.
• Strong interpersonal skills, efficient and effective communication (written and oral) and organization skills are essential.
• Must be “Team” Oriented with a demonstrated ability to work well with others and promote a positive work environment.

The ideal candidate:

• Diploma of Collegial studies in mechanical engineering technology, Trade Certificate from College of Trades in a mechanical discipline or relevant technical experience.
• 6 + years working experience in mechanical design / testing / nuclear field services sector.
• Microsoft Word / Excel.
• Familiarity with the Design & Development section of ISO 9001 standards.
• Knowledge of established engineering design principles and methods.
