Atkins Nuclear Solutions US is currently seeking a Millwright to join the nuclear team in Oak Ridge, TN.

Job Description

Stops work without fear of reprisal for unsafe conditions potentially affecting personnel safety or environmental risk

Installs machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints and other drawings in industrial establishment, using hoists, lift trucks, hand tools and power tools

Dismantles machines, using hammers, wrenches, crowbars and other hand tools

Assembles and installs equipment, such as shafting, conveyors and tram rails using hand tools and power tools

Aligns machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rulers, micrometers and plumb tools

Assembles machines, and bolts, rivets, or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures, using hand tools and power tools

Repairs and lubricates machines and equipment

Ensures that safety is an integral element embodied in equipment design and specification and that work is being performed in a safe and efficient manner

Supports the execution of Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) guiding principles and core functions and the Isotek Safety Culture
