Position Overview:

As the Compliance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all compliance-related activities within our construction projects. You will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure that our projects meet all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate compliance requirements to various stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

2. Conduct regular compliance audits and inspections of construction sites to identify and address any potential violations or areas of non-compliance.

3. Provide guidance and training to project teams and subcontractors on compliance requirements and best practices.

4. Review construction plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

5. Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and update internal policies and procedures accordingly.

6. Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and external auditors during inspections and audits.

7. Investigate and resolve compliance issues, complaints, and incidents in a timely and effective manner.

8. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities, including inspection reports, corrective actions, and training records.

9. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and legal counsel, to address compliance-related challenges and opportunities.

10. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in construction compliance.

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience (10+ years) in compliance management or a similar role within the construction industry/PMC in Saudi Arabia.

- In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing construction activities (e.g., OSHA, EPA, building codes).

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify compliance risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.

- Certified Construction Compliance Professional (CCCP) or similar certification preferred.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance management software.

- Arabic language proficiency is preferred.
