Atkins are looking for a Principal Aviation Consultant in Riyadh and Jeddah, KSA.

A Principal Aviation Consultant is a senior-level professional who is responsible for providing expert guidance and advice to clients in the aviation industry. Their main objective is to provide strategic direction and support to their clients by assessing their needs and recommending solutions to improve their operational and financial performance.

The job description of a Principal Aviation Consultant typically includes the following key responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Develop and maintain relationships with clients, identify new business opportunities, and participate in proposal development and client presentations.

  • Project Management: Oversee the delivery of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the client.

  • Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of aviation industry regulations, standards, and best practices to provide advice and guidance to clients.

  • Analytical Skills: Conduct data analysis, identify trends, and provide recommendations to clients on how to improve their operations, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior staff members, ensuring their professional development and providing guidance and support as needed.

  • Communication Skills: Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, write reports, and communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Industry Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations, publish articles and whitepapers, and represent the firm at industry events.

Requirements:

  • A successful Principal Aviation Consultant should have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in aviation management, engineering, or a related field.

  • 12-15 years experience in the aviation industry, including working for an airline, airport, or aviation consulting firm.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills are essential for this role.
