We are seeking a skilled and experienced mid-weight Product Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing user-centred interfaces that meet the needs of our clients and end-users. You will work closely with our project managers, developers, and other designers to create effective design solutions that align with project goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop design concepts.
  • Design and develop wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts to project stakeholders.
  • Create user-centred interfaces that are intuitive, visually appealing, and easy to use.
  • Build and maintain our design system and brand guidelines.
  • Conduct user research, discovery workshops and usability testing to gather feedback and refine design solutions.
  • Work with developers to ensure design specifications are implemented accurately.
  • Stay up to date with emerging design trends, tools, and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Years of experience in design role.
  • Experience with wireframing and prototyping in Figma.
  • Strong visual design skills with an eye for typography, colour, and layout.
  • Experience with user research and usability testing methodologies.
  • Experience in designing for accessibility and inclusivity.
  • Experience working with developers to implement designs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Confident in presenting designs and engaging with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Portfolio showcasing UX/UI design work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in designing for mobile and web applications.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of information architecture and content strategy.
  • Some knowledge of HTML/CSS would be good, but not essential.
