Your role within the team:

• Project Leadership:
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for the entire project team.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and consultants.
  • Ensure alignment with organizational goals and project objectives.
• Electrical Systems Oversight:
  • Manage all aspects related to electrical systems design, installation, and integration.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Monitor progress and address any technical challenges related to electrical components.
• Budget and Schedule Management:
  • Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and cost control measures.
  • Create and maintain project schedules, identifying critical milestones and dependencies.
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies to avoid delays and cost overruns.
• Quality Assurance and Safety:
  • Uphold safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Implement quality control processes to ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Address any safety or quality issues promptly.
• Stakeholder Communication:
  • Regularly update project stakeholders on progress, challenges, and achievements.
  • Foster positive relationships with community members, local authorities, and other relevant parties.
• Contract Management:
  • Oversee contract negotiations, change orders, and claims.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

The ideal candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, specifically within rail transit systems.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale transit projects.
• Familiarity with electrical systems design, installation, and commissioning.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
