Reward Analyst

 

The incumbent will be primarily responsible for providing analytical and project management support to the Reward Centre of Expertise supporting the development, implementation and maintenance of reward and recognition operational activities and strategies.

 

Responsibilities

 

Reporting to the Manager – Reward Shared Services, the incumbent will have general operational and project related responsibilities, working closely with other team members across HR.   The role is primarily operational but the incumbent will be expected to identify areas of improvement and ways of making our processes more efficient.

 

The role will provide support in the following areas:

 

Senior Bonus Plan

 

Prepare spreadsheets for the annual nomination process

Collate nomination data and produce sign off analysis for senior leader sign-off

Prepare mail merge files for the nomination and payout letter processes

Maintain bonus tracker and work with HR Ops to ensure Oracle records are up to date and accurate

Support the annual payout process in its entirety, including calculating payout values and producing spreadsheets for the HRBPs

 

Job Classification Project

Maintain a file of all employees globally, ensuring data is kept up to date and accurate

Create files for manager review throughout the project

Provide final data to be entered into the Workday system for the job classification element 

Create and manage the process to keep the data up to date on an ongoing basis

 

Long Term Incentive Plans

Provide historical share award data to assist managers in making nomination decisions

Collate nominations from all Sectors and produce CEO sign-off analysis

Liaise with all Sectors to obtain employee data required to issue awards

Provide data to the Group Reward Consultant for inclusion in the Board Paper

Provide confirmation of awards to all Sectors and arrange for letters to be sent (including preparing a mail merge file for the UK)


 

Annual Salary Review and Annual Discretionary Bonus processes for the UK (c.9,000 employees)

Prepare external market data packs for each Business

Produce sign off analysis for each Business and for CEO sign-off

Produce mail merge file

Provide ad hoc analysis based on specific business requests

Produce post salary review / bonus analysis

 

Salary Surveys

Complete the various annual salary surveys, ensuring data is submitted to survey providers for benchmarking purposes

Analyse and present the salary survey results as meaningful data for HR and the Business, including identifying and implementing improvements to the presentation of the data on an ongoing basis

 

Provide analysis for any ad-hoc requests from both Human Resources and the Business



Requirements

  • Graduate with a degree in a relevant, ideally numerate, discipline
  • Significant experience working in an in-house compensation role, within a large complex corporate environment– supporting annual cycles, pay review, bonus reviews, etc. and ideally supporting these processes for geographies outside of India
  • Good numerical understanding and dexterity
  • High level of competence in Excel (e.g. ability to produce “if statements”, “V look-ups”, “pivot tables”, as well as more complex formulas)
  • Ability to analyse complex data and present in a suitable format to various stakeholders
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to use initiative to complete tasks
  • Sound problem solving skills
  • Excellent planning, organisation and co-ordinating skills e.g. to manage own projects
  • Effective skills in communicating, presenting, and reporting
  • Ability to prioritise ever-changing workload effectively
  • Builds excellent working relationships
  • The role requires both confidentiality and the ability to use discretion and exercise judgement to offer quality information
  • The incumbent must be discrete, trustworthy and dependable.
