Atkins seeks multiple energetic and highly motivated self-starters to join our Henderson, Nevada Office as a Right-Of-Way Technician.

 

Major Function/Role:

Under supervision, performs land rights/easements research and analysis through use of Clark County Assessor and Recorder Office websites and provided proprietary resources.

 

Job Duties:

Compiles and analyzes land rights/easement documents and information using designated resources. May prepare or assist technical professionals with preparation of easement acquisition packages to property owners. Manages work assignments and updates work progress using project systems. Performs related or other similar tasks as may be requested.Carries out diversified tasks involving research and analysis of legal documents under time constraints.

 

Education and Experience:

High school diploma (or equivalent) plus eight years related experience OR an Associates Degree in a related technical field plus six years related experience is required.


Special Skills:

Strong analytical, interpersonal, writing and communications skills. Ability to learn to read/ and interpret maps, plans and legal descriptions. Priority will be given for experience reading, writing and plotting legal descriptions and use of Clark County Assessor and Recorder websites for property record research.

 

Additional Requirements:

Requires the application of mathematics and the basic knowledge of legal descriptions, land surveying, and real estate principles.
