Risk Manager

SNC Lavalin is looking for a Senior Risk Manager to be based in Iraq, working on West Qurna oil field phase 2, in partnership with LUKOIL. The role is a long-term position and will be spread over multiple projects within WQ2. This position is a 28/28 rotation, providing accommodation and meals whilst on-site.

To be considered for this position, applicants are required to have the following qualifications and experience:

Key responsibilities:

• Working experience in development of Risk Register, Risk Identification process, risk management procedures, quantitative and qualitative risk analysis, risk mitigation plan, and establishment of risk control processes.
• knowledge of principles/concept/processes of Project Controls, Project Management and construction discipline.
• knowledge of oil & gas working processes/methods of all construction disciplines.
• Previously engaged in at least one Oil & Gas EPC projects.

Software:

Working experience in PIMS, @Risk, Primavera P6, Primavera Risk Analysis, Acumen Risk software

Experience / Skills:

• 10 years post-graduate experience
• Experience providing risk management expertise on large scale Oil & Gas projects and programs.
• strategic leadership skills, people management skills and experience of managing internal and external stakeholders at a senior level.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Economics, Risk Management or Construction Management disciplines.
